Physical Therapy Technician Aide (PTTA): Admissions Requirements: • CNA License or enrolled in college, vocational school, pursing nursing or physical therapy career. • 17 years old (Requires written parental permission) • Be accompanied by a parent or guardian if under the age of 18 • Social Security Card • Foreign student documentation, when applicable. • Signed Enrollment Agreement Program Description: This 3 week - 60 hour program provides a basic understanding of the theory and clinical skills necessary to function as an entry-level physical therapy technician aide in a variety of rehabilitation settings. Offered at a 50% discount when enrolled in RGV careers CNA Program. Upon completion of this course the students will be able to do the following: Students will be able to acquire a job under the direction of a physical therapist or a physical therapist assistant at hospitals, doctor’s offices, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, chiropractor’s offices and other health care facilities that employ Physical Therapy Technician Aides.
